Meet the Providers

Paige Evans Smith, ARNP, FNP-C, PMHNP- BC

As a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health, I bring a unique perspective to mental health care that considers the connection between mind and body. My background in family medicine and women's health has shown me firsthand how physical health, hormones, stress, sleep, nutrition, and life experiences can profoundly impact emotional well-being.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress-related conditions, sleep disturbances, ADHD, women's mental health concerns, and life transitions. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals who feel like something is "off" but have not found answers through traditional approaches alone. Many of my patients come to me feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or frustrated that previous treatments have only addressed part of the picture.

My approach is holistic, functional, and highly individualized. While I utilize evidence-based psychiatric treatments, including medication management when appropriate, I also believe that lasting mental wellness often requires looking beyond symptoms alone. Together, we explore the factors that may be contributing to emotional distress, including lifestyle habits, nutrition, hormonal changes, sleep quality, chronic stress, physical health conditions, relationships, and environmental influences. My goal is to help identify and address the root contributors affecting overall well-being whenever possible.

When you work with me, you can expect a thoughtful and collaborative experience. I take time to listen carefully, understand your story, and develop a treatment plan that aligns with your values, preferences, and goals. I believe patients should feel empowered to ask questions, participate in decisions, and fully understand their treatment options. Mental health care should never feel rushed or impersonal.

Patients often describe my approach as compassionate, supportive, and comprehensive. I strive to create a safe space where you feel comfortable discussing challenges openly and honestly without fear of judgment. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, hormonal changes, burnout, life transitions, or simply seeking greater balance in your life, I am committed to helping you find practical solutions that support both your mental and physical health.

My goal is to help you build resilience, restore balance, and achieve meaningful improvements in your overall quality of life through personalized care that honors the whole person—not just a diagnosis.

Heather Glasser, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

As a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), My passion is helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, anxious, or frustrated by symptoms that are interfering with their daily lives, relationships, work, or ability to enjoy life.

I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, panic attacks, sleep concerns, trauma-related conditions, and other common mental health challenges. Many of the patients I work with have struggled to find the right medication, feel like their concerns have not been fully heard, or are looking for a provider who takes the time to understand their unique situation rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach. I work with both children and adults experiencing mental health concerns.

My philosophy is simple: mental health care works best when it is a collaborative process. I believe you are the expert on your own experiences, and I value your thoughts, preferences, and goals when making treatment decisions. Rather than simply prescribing medication, I take time to understand your symptoms, lifestyle, stressors, strengths, and concerns so we can develop a treatment plan together that feels right for you.

When you meet with me, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can openly discuss what you're experiencing without feeling rushed or dismissed. Whether you are seeking help for the first time or have been managing mental health concerns for years, I want you to feel supported throughout the process.

I enjoy helping individuals who struggle with persistent anxiety, racing thoughts, panic attacks, depression, difficulty focusing, emotional overwhelm, sleep problems, and challenges related to life transitions. I also work with patients who feel that previous treatments have not provided the results they were hoping for and are looking for a fresh perspective on their care.

My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to help you improve your overall quality of life, strengthen your resilience, and feel more confident in managing your mental health. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan focused on helping you feel your best and achieve meaningful, lasting improvement.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management through Premier Psychiatry and am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that meets you where you are in your mental health journey.
